When to use it

  • Quarterly review with leadership
  • Investigation — "why did our weekend overtime spike in March?"
  • Modelling change — "if we add a 5th RN to ED Mornings, what's the projected cost / fairness impact?"

What you can do

  • Pivot any metric (hours, cost, fill %, leave) by Stream / Craft Group / shift pattern / staff
  • Compare two periods side-by-side
  • Save dashboards for reuse
  • Export charts as PNG or data as CSV

Tips

  • Save your common views — most managers end up using 2–3 dashboards regularly.
  • For one-off questions, IRIS chat is faster than building a dashboard. Try "Why did our weekend OT spike in March?" before opening Analytics.
  • Export as CSV when you need to combine the data with finance / HR systems.
