How to Export Reports
Go to Sidebar → Reports. Reports are grouped by category — click a category tab to filter, or scroll to browse all.
Report categories and what they contain
Payroll
- Staff Hours Worked — hours per staff member across a date range, shown as a date-grid with Total Hours and a Stream breakdown sheet. Best for: Payroll Officer.
- Timesheet Export (RosterOn Transfer) — pay-period timesheet grouped by Craft Group, with one row per shift, Start/End times, Hours, Leave flag, and Notes. Best for: Payroll Officer · HR Manager · Roster Manager.
- Shift Requests Export — Level 3 (Master Roster) and Level 4 (Availability) shift requests. Best for: Roster Manager.
HR
- Hours Variance Report — contracted vs actual rostered hours; flags staff who are under or over their contracted minimum hours for the period. Best for: HR Manager · Payroll Officer.
- Leave Overview — all leave requests for the period with type, dates, status (Approved / Pending / Rejected) and total days. Best for: HR Manager.
Operations
- Headcount Coverage — rostered count vs vacancies required per stream per day; highlights understaffed dates. Best for: Roster Manager · Operations.
Compliance & Analytics
- Compliance Report — roster conflicts, rule violations and rest-hour breaches.
How to generate a report
- Go to Sidebar → Reports.
- Click the report card you want.
- Set the date range (start date, end date).
- For reports with a Status filter, choose CONFIRMED, DRAFT, or ALL.
- Click Generate Report or Download Excel.
- The file downloads automatically to your browser's Downloads folder.
Tips
- Most reports download as Excel (xlsx). Open in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.
- The Hours Variance Report is the fastest way to see who is under-contracted for a pay period.
- The Timesheet Export is the recommended format for uploading to payroll systems (e.g. RosterOn, KeyPay).
