How to Publish the Roster
Publishing makes the roster visible to all staff.
- Go to The Living Roster
- Review all assignments – check for:
- Coverage gaps (empty cells)
- Rule violations (warning icons)
- Fairness issues
- Use Roster Health modal to check for conflicts
- When satisfied, click Publish
- Staff are notified and can see their shifts in My Shifts
Tips:
- Run a roster audit with IRIS before publishing: "Any issues with next week's roster?"
- Published shifts appear in staff calendar subscriptions
- You can still make changes after publishing (staff are notified of changes)
