How to Set Up Vacancy Planning

Vacancy planning defines how many staff you need per shift per day.

1. Go to Vacancy Planning (Sidebar → Vacancy Planning)
2. Select the stream/department
3. For each shift pattern (AM, PM, Night):
   • Set the number of staff needed per craft group
   • Set for each day of the week (weekdays may differ from weekends)
4. Save your requirements

Example:

• Emergency AM Shift: 3 RNs, 1 EN, 1 Doctor
• Emergency Night Shift: 2 RNs, 1 EN

The AI uses these requirements when generating rosters and when checking for coverage gaps.
