Notification Types and How to Manage Them
Managing Your Notifications
You receive notifications for:
- Roster published or updated (your shifts changed)
- Leave request approved or rejected
- Swap request received
- Swap request outcome (approved/rejected/expired)
- Open swap offers on your posted swaps
Notification channels:
- In-app – notification bell icon in the top bar
- Email – sent to your registered email address (for important events)
Managing notification preferences:
- Go to Profile → Notification Preferences
- Toggle on/off for different notification types
- Email notifications can be turned on/off independently of in-app
Marking as read:
- Click the notification bell icon
- Click individual notifications to mark as read
- Use "Mark all as read" to clear all
Not getting notifications?
- Check your email spam/junk folder
- Verify your email address in your profile
- Check notification preferences are enabled
- Try refreshing the page for in-app notifications
