Re-Requesting an Open Shift After Withdrawing or Expiry

If you previously withdrew an open shift request, or if your request expired before being approved, you can request the same shift again — as long as it is still open.

How it works

  • A pending request shows the shift in grey on your My Shifts calendar (live request in progress), if the Open Shifts overlay is on
  • Once your request is withdrawn, declined, or expired, the shift returns to orange — open and available again
  • Simply click the shift again to submit a new request

Where to find it

  • Shift Deck → My Deck → Open Shifts — all open shifts you're currently eligible for
  • My Shifts calendar — orange blocks are open shifts; grey means you have a live pending request (needs the Open Shifts overlay on)
  • My Shifts calendar → My Requests overlay — shows your pending request as a yellow marker even if the vacancy itself doesn't appear in the Open Shifts overlay (e.g. it's filtered out there) — the most reliable way to always see a pending request on the calendar

Your request history (including withdrawn and expired) is always visible under Shift Deck → My Requests.

Note: Withdrawing and re-requesting does not give you priority — all requests are reviewed equally by the roster builder.
