How to Check Roster Fairness

Go to Intelligence Hub (Dashboard → toggle Intelligence Hub at the top — roster builders and admins only)

Also: Sidebar → The Living Roster → Fairness view tab for per-period fairness on the grid.
View metrics for:
- Weekend distribution – are weekends shared fairly?
- Night shift distribution – are nights shared fairly?
- Total hours – is everyone getting appropriate hours?
- Fatigue indicators – are rest periods being maintained?
- Below minimum / over-max – staff under contractual minimum or above maximum (see Intelligence Hub hours view)

Or ask IRIS:

"Run a fairness audit for this month"
"Who has the most weekends?"
"Is the night shift distribution fair in Emergency?"

IRIS always considers fairness when generating rosters via Generate with IRIS and Fill Gaps — availability and fairness weighting are built into the engine and cannot be turned off. There are no user-adjustable priority toggles.

For staff below their contractual minimum, check Roster Health → Fortnight Hours → Below Minimum or the Intelligence Hub hours view after generation.
