Rostered During Approved Leave

If you see a shift assigned during your approved leave period:

  1. Don't panic – this is likely a scheduling error
  2. Check your leave status in Leave Planner to confirm it's approved
  3. Contact your roster builder immediately with the details
  4. They can remove the conflicting assignment

Why this might happen:

  • The roster was generated before your leave was approved
  • A manual assignment was made without checking leave
  • A system sync delay (rare)

Prevention:

  • Request leave as early as possible
  • Check the roster after leave is approved to make sure there are no conflicts
  • Set up Calendar Sync so you can easily spot any overlaps
