Rostered During Approved Leave
If you see a shift assigned during your approved leave period:
- Don't panic – this is likely a scheduling error
- Check your leave status in Leave Planner to confirm it's approved
- Contact your roster builder immediately with the details
- They can remove the conflicting assignment
Why this might happen:
- The roster was generated before your leave was approved
- A manual assignment was made without checking leave
- A system sync delay (rare)
Prevention:
- Request leave as early as possible
- Check the roster after leave is approved to make sure there are no conflicts
- Set up Calendar Sync so you can easily spot any overlaps
